United World Academy organizes trip to Barcelona with Johan Cruyff Institute
A unique experience for the students of Institut Florimont
Over the course of several days, a group of students from Institut Florimont had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the vibrant city of Barcelona, at the crossroads of professional sport and international education.
This journey was organized by United World Academy, in collaboration with the Johan Cruyff Institute, a global leader in sport business and sports management education.
Discovery, inspiration, and career insight
The program offered a perfect blend of inspiring visits, specialized courses, and sporting activities to bring learning to life.
Students explored some of Barcelona’s most iconic sports landmarks, including the Olympic Museum and the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper, FC Barcelona’s training center and the historic home of La Masia.
But this experience went far beyond sightseeing: each activity was carefully integrated into an educational pathway focused on discovering the careers behind the sports industry, entrepreneurship, and management.
Guided by professionals from the field, students completed modules developed by the Johan Cruyff Institute, earning a certificate. A meaningful first step for those aiming to pursue a future in the world of sport business.
Between sea, city, and ambition
Barcelona also offered the group a unique atmosphere. To balance theory and practice, students took part in outdoor sports like beach volleyball and explored the city’s dynamic neighborhoods.
A collective success
This experience would not have been possible without the trust of Institut Florimont, the expertise of the Johan Cruyff Institute, and the support of YeloDrive and YeloSwitzerland.
We extend our sincere thanks to all our partners for their continued commitment and support in our mission: to offer transformative experiences for young people, where sport, education, and global perspective come together.
