United World Academy organizes trip for Institut Florimont to Parma
An Italian adventure for the students of Institut Florimont
Under the skies of Emilia-Romagna, students from Institut Florimont enjoyed an immersive journey into the heart of Parma, a city of art, heritage… and a deep passion for sport.
Organized by United World Academy with the support of YeloDrive, YeloSwitzerland, and our official equipment partner Erreà, this trip blended local culture, physical activity, and inspiring exchanges.
A new way to learn, opening up to the world
Over several days, students explored Italy through hands-on experiences and meaningful encounters.
The program included:
– a guided tour of Parma’s historic city center,
– a visit to the Castle of Torrechiara,
– an immersive experience in a traditional Parmesan cheese factory,
– a deep dive into motorsport at the Ferrari Museum in Maranello,
– and a stop at the Juventus Museum in Turin.
Each step offered a lively and interactive way to connect with Italy’s history, traditions, and modern identity.
Where sports and education come together
Sport played a key role throughout the journey. Students took part in a training session at San Benedetto School, a chance to connect, move, and share a unique moment with local students.
They also had the opportunity to visit the headquarters and production facilities of Erreà, the group’s official sportswear partner. A behind-the-scenes look into the sports industry brought valuable insight into the professional world.
Italy as a living classroom
This trip to Parma reflects United World Academy’s mission to bridge academic learning with culture and sport.
Through local experiences, personal discoveries, and meaningful interactions, students enhanced their curiosity, independence, and team spirit, gaining far more than memories from this educational journey.
