United World and Erreà announce ground-breaking partnership
Officials at United World and Erreà Sport have today (Thursday 16th June 2022) signed a pioneering partnership.
The multi-year agreement will see United World’s partners, which include English Championship club, Sheffield United, Belgian 1B Pro League club, K. Beerschot V.A. and La Berrichonne de Châteauroux, of Championnat National in France, in addition to AlHilal United, Kerala United and the United World Academy, all kitted out in technical athletic apparel provided by renowned Italian sportswear brand, Erreà Sport.
Abdullah Alghamdi, United World’s Chief Executive Officer, and Roberto Gandolfi, Vice President of Erreà Sport, finalised the deal in Parma, Italy – the headquarters of Erreà Sport.
The deal is thought to be the first of its kind with regards to multi-club structures as United World look to lead the way with fewer and bigger partnerships which benefits clubs under the same umbrella.
Erreà Sport, a UEFA partner on their Kit Assistance Scheme, will provide United World clubs with bespoke team wear. As well as being the first Italian sportswear company to be accredited with the Oeko-tex standard certification, their European production provides fantastic operational value with regards to reliable lead times.
As part of the unique deal Sheffield United, K. Beerschot V.A. and La Berrichonne de Châteauroux will receive financial benefits, as well as kit and training wear. Production on the new bespoke team wear has already begun and the new designs are set to be launched in July 2022.
